SETS Module

Bulk Barcode Printing

The SETS mobile app takes hundreds of barcode and QR labels from a ZIP file into a print queue in one step and sends them to a Bluetooth label printer in order. There is no need to open and print labels one by one.

How does bulk barcode printing work?

The ZIP file with the label images is selected once in the SETS app. The app reads the labels, builds a print queue and sends it to the Bluetooth printer in order. Printing can be paused and resumed where it stopped, and the used and remaining counts stay on screen.

How It Works

From ZIP to print in four steps

01

Select the ZIP

The ZIP file with the label images is copied to the phone and selected in the app.

02

The queue is built

The app reads the labels, shows the total count and prepares the print order.

03

Preview and print

You check a true preview of the label, then the queue is sent to the Bluetooth printer in order.

04

Resume where you stopped

Printing can be paused or interrupted; the queue position is kept and the job is not rebuilt.

Comparison

Printing one by one compared with a print queue

TopicOne by oneQueued bulk printing (SETS)
Selecting labelsEach label is opened and printed separatelyThe ZIP is selected once and every label enters the queue
Keeping orderDepends on the user's attentionThe app keeps the queue order
InterruptionsYou find where you stopped by handPrinting resumes where it stopped
Count visibilityCounted by handUsed and remaining counts on screen
RecordUsually noneEach action reaches the panel with user, device, location and time

For a few labels that change often, printing one by one can be enough; for jobs with hundreds of labels a queue makes a difference in time and errors.

Print Quality

Making sure the printed code can be scanned

SETS regenerates the QR value of each label, scales it to the label size and places the human-readable code close to it. A true preview is shown before printing, so an unreadable code is caught before it reaches the field.

Common Questions

Questions about bulk barcode printing

Which formats should the ZIP contain?

The ZIP file should contain label images in PNG, JPG or BMP format. Each image can be up to 16 MB and 4096 × 4096 pixels.

Which printers does it work with?

It works with Bluetooth mobile label printers that support the CPCL or ZPL command language.

What happens if printing is interrupted?

The queue position is kept. You can resume from where it stopped or cancel; the same job is not rebuilt.

Can I print without internet?

Yes. Printing happens over Bluetooth between the phone and the printer; the records are sent to the panel when the connection returns.
